Welcome to our NEW card gallery of ideas. We've tried to include a description of how each card was made, to help you in duplicating the effect, or designing your own. If you have a new idea, you can submit them to Lindy's Stamp Gang.*

Card #1 instructions:
Background: Using a light tan colored card
stock, lightly spritz the edges with Moon Shadow Mist in Incandescent Copper.
Emboss a repeat pattern in Moon Glow Embossing Powder... Midnight Copper
Obsidian over entire piece.
Foreground: Place a stencil over light tan
colored card stock and spritz lightly with Moon Shadow Mist in Incandescent
Copper. Carefully lift stencil. Dry. Edge with embossing powder in Midnight
Copper Obsidian.
Card #2 instructions:
Using a light tan colored card stock spritz
card with Moon Shadow Mist in Mystic Malachite, spraying more heavily toward
the edges and leaving it lighter in the center. Emboss with Moon Glow Embossing
Powder in Adobe Fire.
Card #3 instructions:
Background: Using Glitz Spritz in Polished
Copper spray a black card stock heavily until it looks like a large puddle.
Quickly take a wadded-up piece of paper toweling and dab over entire paper
until it looks like marble. Dry. Seal with hair spray.
Foreground: Using a black COATED tag (uncoated
tags will not give the same effect), spritz entire tag with Polished Copper
Glitz Spritz until it beads up on tag. Dry with embossing gun. Seal with
hair spray. Dry again (because of the coating, the Glitz Spritz does not
air dry well). Using Moon Glow Embossing Powder in Midnight Emerald Obsidian
stamp an all-over design. Brush off excess powder. Assemble.
Card #4 instructions:
Using black card stock, place stencil in
middle of smaller piece and spray as lightly or as heavily as desire with
Glitz Spritz in Royal Lapis Lazuli Fire. Add a touch of Royal Amethyst
Fire if desire. Gently lift stencil. Dry... either air dry or dry with
embossing gun. Seal with hair spray. Assemble using gel writer for any
text.
Card #5 instructions:
Using black card stock spritz heavily with
Glitz Spritz in Royal Lapis Lazuli Fire over 2/3 of the paper (mask off
rest). Using a wadded up paper towel lightly dab until desired textured
effect is achieved. Mask this. Spritz remaining 11/3 with Royal Amethyst
Fire and dab with paper toowel until effect is achieved. Dry entire piece.
Seal with hair spray. Cut small piece of this and punch out leaf design.
Glue onto coordinating blue background card stock with leaf punch glued
separately.
Card #6 instructions:
Using dark blue card stock place stencil
onto paper and lightly spray with Glitz Spritz in Gossamer Gold. Do not
spray too heavily as this takes away from textured design. Gently lift
stencil and dry. Seal with hair spray. Assemble.
Card #7 instructions:
Using a heavy white card stock, brush on
Moon Shadow Ink in Ethereal Emerald . While still wet add more ink to different
areas and allow to bleed/drool together for a water color effect. Dry.
Layer sepia colored heritage photo.
Card #8 instructions:
Background: Using a sheet of black card
stock, tap Versamark watermark inkpad over entire paper making sure you
have complete coverage. Using a dry, soft camel hair brush, brush on MOON
GLOW mica powder in many shades from the Harvest Moon collection. TAP (not
brush) off excess powder. Seal with hair spray. Emboss an all over design
using various shades of Moon Glow Embossing Powder in Adobe Fire, Midnight
Copper Obsidian, Midnight Gold Obsidian, and Midnight Emerald Obsidian.
Brush away excess powder.
Foreground: Stamp image using Versamark
on black card stock. Using a soft , dry camel hair brush, lightly dust
on several colors from MOON GLOW Harvest Moon collection of mica pigment
powders. Using a ssoft, dry golden taklon brush, brush away excess powder.
Using an electrostatic cloth, wipe over entire sheet to attract stray bits
of stubborn powder if there are any bits visible. Seal with hair spray.
Layer foreground and background and coordinating papers.
The following cards are made using a new technique, called Iridescent Metals, using the new Moon Shadow Mist. Click on a card to see it full size.
TO MAKE IRIDESCENT METAL CARDS:
1. Using a coated, glossy card stock, emboss an open design onto the paper. (Note: using the two-toned Moon Glow Embossing Powders REALLY adds to the iridescence!)
2. Spray one color of Moon Shadow Mist quite heavily over embossed image. Let the Mist "puddle" inside the image, but leave some of the card stock color showing through. Dry with an embossing gun. Seal with hair spray. Dry again with the gun. (Note: When using coated, glossy or matte paper you must dry it with a gun or it may still be wet NEXT year!!)
3. Now choose a contrasting color of Moon Shadow Mist and repeat step two making the second color a bit lighter. The two colors of Mist will blend together making a gorgeous iridescent effect.
